WOW! Now I remember why I got off the social networking train a few years ago. MySpace has been a lot of fun but it consumes much of my time becuase it is addicting. I think one of my favorite things about myspace is a way to stay in touch with friends from the "real world" that you don't see a whole lot. She pretty much nailed social networks and how they are used by our teens. I thought she brought up a great point when she started talking about the fact that everything we ever say or blog about online is saved and can come back to haunt us in the future. Yesterday, Dr. McVey took a small group for a tour of Second Life. We were able to meet up at a specific time in the virtual world and communicate via our microphones. Dr. McVey took the group to a number of locations throughout Second Life.
